Why don't we just send you a letter stating possible outstanding VAT including interest?
In Denmark, VAT is charged via the E-tax portal, a self-service system. In the portal, businesses can see their payments and pay any outstanding VAT and interest. Due to GDPR legislation, employees of the Tax Agency may not provide information about outstanding amounts in the E-tax portal. As a result, businesses need to log on to the portal to see their accounts and possible outstanding VAT and/or interest. This applies to all businesses subject to the VAT One Stop Shop rules.
