Digital Post and letters from the Customs and Tax Administration
We send the majority of our letters via Digital Post, just like other public authorities. However, some letters you still have to access in E-tax (TastSelv).
Tax assessment notice and preliminary income assessment still in E-tax (TastSelv)
All individuals still need to access their tax assessment notices and preliminary income assessments by logging on to E-tax. We will not send these documents by Digital Post.
If you have provided an email address in E-tax, we will notify you by email when your tax assessment notice is available.
If we do not have your email address, you will be notified in your digital mail box.
If you have been exempted from Digital Post, we will send your tax assessment notice by regular mail.
Other letters via Digital Post
If you are unable to read Digital Post, you can give a friend or family member access to read your post (link in Danish) or you can apply to be exempted from Digital Post. If you are granted exemption, we will send all letters to you by regular mail.
